The Fire Alarm Construction Manager is responsible for the daily leadership and coordination of fire alarm construction installation projects. This is a field-focused role, spending much of the time onsite with customers, installers, and project partners to keep work safe, organized, on schedule, and financially on track. The ideal candidate is hands‑on, entrepreneurial, and experienced in fast‑paced commercial fire alarm installation environments.

• Manage daily operations of construction installation projects for fire alarm systems.
• Coach and mentor technicians, apprentices, and other direct reports.
• Order materials and equipment needed to support project execution.
• Monitor project financials, budgets, and hours assigned to each job.
• Maintain installer schedules and coordinate labor planning with operations.
• Provide accurate project status updates during WIP meetings.
• Attend construction meetings and interface with end‑users, architects, and general contractors.
• Conduct regular job site safety walkthroughs, EHS evaluations, and accident investigations.
• Support interviewing and evaluation of employees and apprentices as needed.

• 5-10 years of management experience in fire alarm installation within the commercial industry.
• Project management experience.
• Estimating experience.
• Fire Alarm, Access Controls, and CCTV certifications.
• Experience with Excel and other Microsoft products.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency with personal computers, including Windows 7/XP/NT/2000.
• Strong field presence and the ability to spend 70%-80% of the time visiting project sites and customers.
• Knowledge of P&L.

• NICET Certification license 3 or greater.

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $100k-115k (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) This role offers a competitive Bonus plan that will take into account individual, group, and corporate performance. This position includes a competitive benefits package. The posted salary range reflects the target compensation for this role.
