- Employee Type Full-Time
- Enforce all safety policies at the job site
- Transport crew, tools, and materials to and from job locations
- Assign tasks and monitor daily workload and performance
- Maintain timesheets, attendance records, and material usage logs
- Communicate job progress, system issues, and crew needs to the Project Manager
- Coordinate with other trades and subcontractors as necessary
- Operate and maintain company vehicles and irrigation equipment
- Install irrigation systems according to plans and specifications
- Lay pipe, install valves, heads, drip systems, controllers, and sensors
- Troubleshoot and repair leaks, wiring issues, pressure problems, and coverage gaps
- Perform system start-ups, shutdowns, and controller programming
- Conduct quality checks to ensure proper coverage and functionality
- Maintain a clean and organized job site
- Operate trenchers, vibratory plows, pipe pullers, and wire locators
- Perform low-voltage wiring work (controllers, sensors, valves)
- Understand system flow, pressure, coverage, and design basics
Skills & Qualifications Required
- Ability to read irrigation plans, wiring diagrams, and system layouts
- Strong understanding of valves, heads, controllers, and troubleshooting
- Basic electrical and mechanical skills
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to lift 50 lbs., kneel/dig for extended periods, and work long hours outdoors
- Experience with trenchers, vibratory plows, and pipe pullers
- Basic horticulture and plant water needs knowledge
