The Children’s Health system spans over 5.8 million square feet, including two full-service hospitals, the flagship Children’s Medical Center Dallas, as well as Children’s Medical Center Plano; multiple specialty centers throughout the region; rehabilitation facilities; and award-winning telemedicine programs. With 700 licensed beds and a staff of over 10,600 employees, Children’s Health continues to innovate through its academic affiliation with UT Southwestern Medical Center, advancing life-changing treatments, groundbreaking research, and innovative technology.

Children’s Medical Center Dallas continues to be the only pediatric hospital in North Texas consistently ranked among “America’s Best” by U.S. News & World Report. Through its academic affiliation with UT Southwestern Medical Center, Children’s Health is a leader in life-changing treatments, innovative technology, and groundbreaking research.

The Foundation

With Texas already home to approximately one-tenth of all children in the nation, and with the increasing complexities and issues they face, it is imperative that Children's Health accommodate growing patient volumes while enhancing the care and programs provided.

Established in 1985 as the fundraising arm for Children’s Health, Children’s Medical Center Foundation (the Foundation) pursues and secures philanthropic contributions through partnerships with individual donors, organizations, and corporations to fund special programs and projects that improve the overall healthcare experience and research that aims to make life better for all children.

Support for Children’s Health has been strong amidst a transformative $5 billion pediatric campus initiative, which broke ground in October 2024. As of May 2025, the project has secured three landmark nine-figure gifts, including a record-setting commitment from the Moody Foundation, along with earlier $100 million gifts in 2024. Corporate philanthropy has been an essential pillar of this success, resulting in $24 million in cash and in‑kind contributions in the most recent fiscal year, which is expected to increase as the public phase of the comprehensive campaign approaches in the coming years.

This is a hybrid role requiring a strong presence in the DFW area, ideally suited to a people‑oriented, polished communicator who thrives in a fast‑paced, high‑trust organization.

The Development Officer for Corporate Partnerships will serve as a key contributor to a high‑growth fundraising program focused on cultivating and securing corporate gifts at the six‑ and seven‑figure level. This is a front‑line, external‑facing role that requires a self‑motivated fundraiser with strong community presence and the ability to build lasting corporate relationships. While the officer will work collaboratively across teams, they are expected to take ownership of their portfolio and lead engagement strategies from prospecting through…
