Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive evaluations, using standardized tests to determine pediatric patients' needs for therapy.
  • Use clinical judgment to develop and implement relevant treatment plans aligned with physician's orders.
  • Provide in‑home therapy services for pediatric patients with a wide range of diagnoses.
  • Engage with patients' families, providing them with regular communication and updates on goals for their child.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including other therapy disciplines, physicians, and nurses, to develop holistic treatment plans that address the diverse needs of each patient.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation that reflects the care provided and communicates changes in treatment plans to the entire healthcare team.
  • Actively participate in one‑on‑one meetings with team leads to discuss patient progress, share insights, and refine treatment strategies collaboratively.
Requirements
  • A valid, active Speech Therapy license in the state of Texas.
  • Current BLS/CPR License.
  • Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and automotive insurance.
  • Pediatric experience is preferred but not required.
