School Psychologist Opportunities

Tact Staff Education is hiring four full-time School Psychologists for the 2026–2027 school year in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex. Openings are available throughout the area, including Dallas, Fort Worth, Arlington, Duncanville, DeSoto, Cedar Hill, Grand Prairie, Haltom City, North Richland Hills, Hurst, Bedford, Mansfield, Burleson, Crowley, and surrounding communities. Whether you enjoy counseling students or conducting comprehensive evaluations, we have an opportunity that fits your strengths.

Current Openings

  • 1 School Psychologist dedicated to student counseling and mental health support
  • 3 School Psychologists responsible for comprehensive evaluations, psycho educational testing, ARD participation, and multidisciplinary team collaboration

Position Details

  • Full-time, onsite
  • 2026–2027 school year
  • Multiple campuses throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth area
  • Competitive pay: $55–$65/hour DOE
  • W2 employment with weekly pay

Responsibilities

Counseling Position

  • Provide individual and group counseling services
  • Support students’ social-emotional and behavioral needs
  • Conduct crisis intervention and risk assessments as needed
  • Collaborate with families, teachers, and administrators
  • Participate in student support and multidisciplinary team meetings

Evaluation/Assessment Positions

  • Conduct comprehensive psycho educational evaluations
  • Administer, score, and interpret standardized assessments
  • Write evaluation reports and eligibility recommendations
  • Participate in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings
  • Collaborate with special education teams, administrators, and families
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and district special education regulations

Qualifications

  • Active Texas School Psychologist credential (LSSP)
  • Previous school-based experience preferred
  • Strong assessment, counseling, and report-writing skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Commitment to supporting diverse student populations
