Job Summary
A long-term temporary opportunity is available for a Resident Services Coordinator in Dallas, TX, supporting residents within a community-focused nonprofit environment. This role is ideal for a compassionate, organized professional who enjoys helping people access resources, participate in meaningful programs, and feel connected to their community.
The Resident Services Coordinator will serve as a trusted point of contact for residents, helping coordinate activities, meetings, outreach, and support services. This position offers consistent daytime hours, a mission-driven work setting, and the opportunity to make a positive impact through resident engagement, resource coordination, and community-building efforts.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate resident programs and activities, including recreational, educational, health and wellness, financial, and community engagement initiatives.
- Build positive relationships with residents and serve as a helpful resource for services, programs, and support options.
- Create and distribute monthly activity calendars and newsletters to promote resident participation and awareness.
- Assist with resident meetings, Crime Watch meetings, and other community-focused events.
- Connect residents with appropriate community programs, social services, and support resources.
- Identify and report unsafe conditions, suspected abuse, neglect, or emergency concerns to appropriate staff, agencies, or law enforcement.
- Pay: $22 per hour.
- Schedule:
Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, and Friday, 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. - Assignment type:
Long-term temporary contract. - Location:

- Coordinate resident programs, activities, meetings, calendars, and newsletters.
- Connect residents with community services, social service agencies, and support resources.
- Maintain accurate records while handling sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
- Respond professionally to resident needs, emergencies, and sensitive situations.
- 1 to 2 years of experience in resident services, community programs, social services, customer service, client care, or a similar environment.
- Knowledge of community programs, social services, and available resident support resources.
- Ability to assess resident needs and identify appropriate resources, referrals, or alternatives.
- Understanding of record keeping, documentation, and records management practices.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to demonstrate patience, tact, professionalism, resourcefulness, and sound judgment.
- Ability to remain calm and responsive during emergency or sensitive situations.
- Strong relationship-building skills with residents, internal teams, and community service providers.
- Proficiency with personal computers and common business software.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Experience in crisis intervention or responding to sensitive resident situations.
- Prior experience supporting residents in affordable housing, nonprofit, community outreach, social services, or property-based resident support environments.
- Familiarity with local Dallas community resources, social service providers, or resident assistance programs.
