We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Manual Game Tester to join our Quality Assurance (QA) team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring our games are polished, bug-free, and deliver an exceptional player experience. You will manually test gameplay features across platforms, identify and document issues, and collaborate closely with developers and designers to improve game quality and overall player satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute test cases and perform exploratory testing across multiple game builds and platforms (PC, console, mobile).
  • Identify, document, and report bugs, glitches, and performance issues using bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
  • Reproduce issues and provide clear, detailed steps for developers to follow.
  • Collaborate with QA leads, developers, and designers to ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Provide constructive feedback on gameplay mechanics, user interface, and overall player experience.
  • Conduct regression testing after bug fixes and game updates.
  • Maintain accurate records of all testing sessions and results.
Required Skills
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking skills.
  • Passion for video games and familiarity with various game genres and platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to follow structured test plans and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Basic understanding of software development and QA processes.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience using bug tracking systems (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
  • Prior QA or game testing experience is a plus but not mandatory.
Certifications

ISTQB or similar QA certification preferred (not mandatory).

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Game Design, or a related field is a plus.
