The Java Full Stack Developer will design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Java Spring Boot on the backend and modern front-end frameworks.
This role requires strong cloud experience (preferably Azure), hands-on Kubernetes knowledge, and full lifecycle development expertise.
The developer will collaborate closely with product teams, architects, technical leads, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality, enterprise-grade solutions.
Key Responsibilities Application Development- Develop full stack applications using Java Spring Boot, front-end technologies, and cloud-native components.
- Enhance and maintain existing enterprise applications using domain-driven design and test-driven development practices.
- Troubleshoot and debug complex issues across the stack and implement scalable solutions.
- Build RESTful services and integrate with databases and cloud services.
- Collaborate with architects, technical leads, business analysts, and project managers to understand requirements and define technical solutions.
- Create detailed project specifications, estimates, and technical documentation.
- Research and implement new technologies to improve security, performance, and development efficiency.
- Follow and contribute to coding standards, architectural principles, and best practices.
- Work with Kubernetes, Azure cloud services, Docker, and containerized applications.
- Support CI/CD processes using tools such as Gradle, Git Hub Actions, Terraform, Helm, and Kustomize.
- Monitor and improve application performance using observability tools like Grafana, Fluent Bit, Dynatrace, and similar platforms.
- Ensure secure development practices and address vulnerabilities through remediation activities.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and work closely with cross-platform teams.
- Provide support during after-hours rotations as needed.
- Collaborate with central teams to resolve platform-level issues and ensure alignment with enterprise goals.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3 years of full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) experience designing and implementing large-scale applications.
- 3 years of professional experience with open-source technologies and enterprise application development.
- Proficiency with Kubernetes, cloud platforms (preferably Azure), and Java Spring Boot.
- Experience with databases and persistence tools:
Postgre
SQL, Data Lake, ADX, Databricks, ORM frameworks, and performance tuning. - Hands-on experience with RESTful services, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Kafka, and front-end frameworks such as Angular, NodeJS, HTML, CSS, and Thymeleaf.
- Experience with CI/CD tools, Dev Ops tool chains, and cloud-based deployment strategies.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented design principles.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve security vulnerabilities.
- Experience with Agile methodologies.
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of SDLC experience with large enterprise systems.
- Experience in the airline industry.
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix shell scripting, disaster recovery processes, and cloud-native architectures.
