Java Full Stack Developer; React​/Angular

Job Overview

CTG is seeking to fill a Java Full Stack Developer (React / Angular) position for our client.
Location: Dallas, TX.
Duration: 12 months.

• Design, develop, and maintain full stack applications using Java (8 or above) and modern front‑end frameworks (React and/or Angular).
• Design and implement scalable, high‑performance solutions leveraging Java 8 features, including lambda expressions, streams, and functional interfaces.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, and cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Develop RESTful APIs and integrate front‑end components with back‑end services.
• Ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and adherence to development best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

• Strong proficiency in Java (Java 8 or higher).
• Hands‑on experience with front‑end frameworks:
  React and/or Angular.
• Proven ability to design solutions using Java 8 features such as lambda expressions, streams, and functional programming concepts.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful web services.
• Solid understanding of object‑oriented design, design patterns, and best practices.
• Familiarity with modern development tools, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems (e.g., Git).

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Demonstrated experience as a Full Stack Developer working with Java and modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
