The organization seeks a Full Stack Software Engineer to design and build high-performance systems across APIs, event-driven workflows, and data feeds for card technology. You will contribute to live channel servicing, digital experiences, and scalable platforms that support multiple products. The team follows a product mindset, leverages customer and market feedback, and employs strong engineering practices to deliver resilient, critical systems.
Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Rate: $53.00 to $63.00/hr. w2
Responsibilities- Design and architect complex, high-scale solutions for processing large volumes of data.
- Develop and maintain API services using modern frameworks and open-source technologies.
- Build rapid prototypes, ship incrementally, and incorporate real-world feedback.
- Apply CI/CD practices including A/B testing, blue-green deployments, and feature toggles to reduce risk and cycle time.
- Mentor and guide team members on technology choices and design, owning issues end-to-end.
- Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to define and deliver the next-generation ecosystem.
- Evaluate and prototype emerging technologies to assess business value and feasibility.
- Participate in technical discussions and share knowledge across teams.
- 8+ years of hands-on software development experience building Java web services and API solutions.
- Experience with microservices architecture, message-oriented middleware, and stream processing.
- Expertise with AWS services such as EKS, S3, SQS, SNS, and Lambda.
- Deep understanding of API design principles including versioning, isolation, and microservices patterns.
- Experience documenting APIs with Swagger or similar frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with Dev Ops automation and CI/CD tooling such as Maven, Jenkins, Stash, Ansible, and Docker.
- Background developing highly scalable distributed systems using open-source technologies.
- Experience with testing frameworks including JUnit, Mockito, and Cucumber.
- Knowledge of web application development with JSP, HTML, CSS/SASS, jQuery, Angular, and Node.js.

- Experience leading in agile environments with strong execution skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills in global, cross-functional teams.
