We’re partnering with a growing Series B/C fintech company in Dallas that is modernizing core financial workflows with scalable, data-driven software. This is a chance to join a high-impact engineering team where your work will shape the platform, influence architecture decisions, and directly impact the company’s growth.

• Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs using Python
• Take ownership of features and systems end-to-end, from design to production
• Collaborate with product, data, and engineering teams to deliver reliable, scalable software
• Contribute to architecture decisions that support performance, automation, and platform growth
• Improve system reliability, monitoring, and developer tooling
• Participate in code reviews and mentor other engineers

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with deep Python expertise
• Experience building scalable backend systems, APIs, or cloud-native services
• Familiarity with distributed systems, message-driven architectures, and data-centric platforms
• Strong understanding of CI/CD, automated testing, and production monitoring
• Experience in growth-stage or fast-scaling environments with cross-functional collaboration
• Ability to make architecture and technical decisions with long-term impact

• Experience building fintech systems, payments, or financial data platforms
• Exposure to event-driven architectures, workflow orchestration, or streaming data pipelines
• Mentorship experience or leadership within engineering teams

• Able to make decisions quickly.
• Proactive.
• Comfortable with Type Script, Python, Docker, LLMs, YOLO, Tesseract, Postgre
  
  SQL, AWS, and React Native.
• Have a history of building products that have been used in real-life circumstances.
• Thrive under pressure and within an unstructured environment.

• Speak with users and gather their needs, experiences, and problems.
• Architect systems that will be used daily by others at billion-dollar companies.
• Build agent-swarm data pipelines that will autonomously audit.
• Maintain and scale infrastructure.
• Produce quickly without the fear of perfection.
• Work directly with the founding team and customers.
