Sr. Full Stack Application Developer (AWS) for Manufacturing Solutions

Remote is OK (Travel), but local to Dallas preferred for onsite 2-3x a week – priority given to local candidates.

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Application Developer with strong experience in AWS cloud services to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications. The ideal candidate will be proficient in both front-end and back-end development, cloud-native architecture, and Dev Ops practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop full stack web applications using modern frameworks and AWS services.
• Build scalable APIs and microservices using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and other serverless technologies.
• Develop responsive front-end interfaces using React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using AWS Code Pipeline, Code Build, and Code Deploy.
• Optimize application performance and ensure high availability and fault tolerance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UX designers, product managers, and QA engineers.
• Ensure security best practices are followed in application development and deployment.
• Monitor and troubleshoot production issues using AWS Cloud Watch and X-Ray.
• Maintain documentation and contribute to knowledge sharing across the team.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in full stack development.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/Type Script, Python, or Java.
• Experience with front-end frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, Dynamo
  
  DB, and Cloud Formation.
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (ECS, EKS).
• Experience with Git, RESTful APIs, and Agile methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

• AWS Certified Developer or Solutions Architect.
• Experience with Graph
  
  QL, Web Sockets, or real‑time data applications.
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform or AWS CDK.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Datadog, New Relic, or Prometheus.

• Process Flows – Mentor and Knowledge transfer to client project team members.
• Participate as primary, co and/or contributing author on any and all project deliverables associated with their assigned areas of responsibility.
• Participate in data conversion and data maintenance.
• Provide best practice and industry-specific solutions.
• Advise on and provide alternative (out of the box) solutions.
• Provide thought leadership as well as hands‑on technical configuration/development as needed.
• Participate as a team member of the team.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
