Summaryof Position
We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our private aviation web, mobile and API platforms. The role focuses on developing automated test frameworks, implementing continuous testing within CI/CD pipelines, and collaborating closely with developers and product teams to uphold QA best practices.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API services using modern test frameworks.
- Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to provide fast feedback and high release confidence.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to define acceptance criteria, test plans, and edge cases.
- Execute functional, regression, API, and performance testing for both frontend and backend systems.
- Identify, track, and analyze defects using issue‑tracking tools and report quality metrics to stakeholders.
- Continuously improve testing coverage, stability, and speed across automation suites.
- Advocate for test‑driven development and quality best practices throughout the engineering lifecycle.
- Proficient in one or more automation frameworks such as Cypress, Playwright, Appium, or Selenium.
- Solid understanding of testing REST APIs and backend integrations using tools like Postman or pytest.
- Familiarity with JavaScript, Type Script, or Python for test script development.
- Passion for debugging, performance tuning, and ensuring smooth user experiences.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate in cross‑functional teams.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools and error tracking systems such as Sentry or Datadog.
- 3–5 years of experience in QA automation for web, mobile, and backend applications.
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines (Fastlane, Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, or Bitbucket Pipelines).
- Experience with mobile testing on iOS/Android and automated device testing platforms (Browser Stack, Test Flight, or Firebase Test Lab).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Typical work schedule includes five 8‑hour shifts assigned to one of the established schedules within the department. Nights, weekends, and/or holidays may be required.
- Ability to travel as needed up to 10% of the time.
- FLSA Status – full time exempt.
- Lifting requirement – up to 20lbs.
