Integration Developer

The Planet Group has partnered with a Dallas area company to locate a Sr. Integration Engineer for a contract‑to‑hire role.

The successful candidate will help design, build, and support scalable integration solutions across enterprise systems. This role focuses on backend development, cloud‑native integration patterns, and connecting ERP platforms with internal and external applications in a reliable, maintainable way.

You’ll work closely with engineering, product, and quality teams to deliver modern APIs, event‑driven services, and data integration pipelines that support critical business workflows.

This job requires three days a week onsite in the Dallas office. We can only hire w2 or candidates on their own 1099. No Third Party candidates, please.

• Design and build integration services connecting ERP platforms and external systems
• Develop and maintain REST and SOAP APIs using scalable integration patterns
• Build backend services using C#/.NET Core (preferred) and/or Node.js, Python, Java, or Type Script
• Implement microservices and event‑driven architectures using messaging and streaming technologies
• Develop cloud‑based solutions using Azure services, including serverless and managed integration components
• Build and optimize data integration pipelines (ETL/ELT), working with JSON, XML, and EDI formats
• Work with relational databases, including data modeling and performance tuning
• Interpret architectural designs and implement loosely coupled integration layers
• Follow strong engineering practices, including Git workflows, unit testing, and CI/CD pipelines
• Monitor and support production integrations using modern observability tools
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to deliver high‑quality, reliable integration capabilities

• 8+ years of experience in software or integration engineering
• Hands‑on experience integrating ERP systems and complex external platforms
• Strong API development skills with REST and SOAP
• Backend development expertise, with C#/.NET Core strongly preferred
• Experience with microservices and event‑driven messaging frameworks such as Event Hub, Service Bus, or Kafka.
• Solid experience working in Azure cloud environments, including Infrastructure-as-Code
• Strong understanding of data integration patterns and enterprise data formats
• Proficient SQL skills, including schema design and query optimization
• Comfortable debugging and supporting systems across multiple interconnected services
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with evolving requirements

• Familiarity with AI‑assisted development tools (Copilot, ChatGPT)
• Exposure to semantic search, ML‑driven enrichment, or Azure Cognitive Services
