Full Stack Engineer

Hype Athlete Network is a mobile app designed to empower athletes by delivering personalized content, fostering a dynamic community, and providing expert insights to help athletes excel in sports and beyond. The platform serves athletes at every level, including youth, high school, college, and professionals, as well as coaches, parents, and fans. Hype is dedicated to addressing the culture, challenges, and conversations shaping the world of sports while creating an inclusive and supportive environment athletes of all ages.

Based in Scottsdale, AZ, Hype combines cutting-edge technology with a passion for sports to support growth and excellence.

This role can be remote. You will be responsible for designing and developing web applications, ensuring seamless integration between the front-end and back-end. Daily tasks may include building and testing scalable features, troubleshooting code, optimizing application performance, and collaborating with a cross‑functional team of designers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure a user‑friendly product that aligns with the company’s goals and values.

• Experience in Back‑End Web Development, encompassing server‑side programming and database management.
• Strong skills in Full‑Stack Development and building end‑to‑end solutions.
• Expertise in Software Development, including designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions.
• Familiarity with cross‑functional collaboration and agile development methodologies.
• Experience in mobile app development and passion for sports or athlete‑centered technologies is a plus.
• Comfortable working in a startup environment.
• Agile and forward thinking.
• Experience managing a small team of developers.
