We’re looking for a Full Stack Engineer who’s passionate about building scalable APIs and modern web applications that serve millions of customers. In this role, you’ll work end‑to‑end on high‑impact digital capabilities—designing, developing, and deploying solutions that power web and mobile experiences in financial planning, investing, and retirement. You’ll be part of an agile, collaborative team where technical excellence, ownership, and customer experience come first.

Rate: $56.00 to $66.00/hr. w2
Responsibilities- Design and develop reusable APIs and web components focused on customer experience.
- Contribute across the development lifecycle from concept through deployment within an agile, cross-functional team.
- Apply CI/CD practices, including A/B testing, blue‑green deployments, and feature toggles to minimize risk.
- Build and optimize highly scalable distributed systems supporting high transaction volumes.
- Practice test‑first development and implement automated tests with modern frameworks.
- Measure and use data to inform design and implementation decisions.
- Collaborate effectively and participate in technical discussions across teams.
- Share technical knowledge to strengthen the engineering community and pursue continuous learning.
- 5+ years of hands‑on software development experience.
- Experience with Service Oriented Architecture, RESTful services, JSON, and modern application servers.
- Web development experience with Angular, Node.js, HTML, and CSS/SASS.
- Deep understanding of API design, including versioning, isolation, and microservices. Graph
QL knowledge is a plus. - Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience documenting APIs using OpenAPI or similar frameworks.
- Hands‑on experience with Dev Ops tool chains including Jenkins, Maven, Git Hub, and NPM.
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong background in building scalable distributed systems using open‑source technologies.
- Working knowledge of testing frameworks such as Jest, Karma, JUnit, and Cypress.
- Experience working in Agile methodologies including Kanban and Scrum.
- Knowledge of relational databases such as Postgres, Oracle, or MySQL and No
SQL systems. - Excellent collaboration and communication skills with the ability to mentor junior engineers.
