Role:
Senior Mobile Accessibility Engineer

We are seeking a passionate Mobile Developer with deep Swift

UI experience to join our accessibility team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of development and end user experience and wants to help ensure our mobile products are usable by ALL different types of users. You’ll help drive our efforts into researching accessibility solutions, fixing complex issues, and helping to test our applications for accessibility compliance.

The Expertise You Have

• 6+ years of professional experience developing applications in iOS, specifically Swift
  
  UI based applications
• Experience working in a team of iOS developers participating in code reviews, pull requests, and pair programming.
• Fluency in Swift object-oriented and/or functional programming from industry working experience
• Working experience with debugging and supporting of mobile applications written in Swift
• Experience in agile methodologies (SCRUM)
• Self-driven to learn and implement new accessible technologies
• Familiarity with accessibility API’s, semantic markup in native development
• Bonus:
• Knowledge of assistive technologies in iOS (Voiceover, Voice Control, etc)
• Practical usage of assistive technologies to test for common accessibility issues
