Java Microservices Developer (Telecom Platform) – Journeyman

CTG is seeking to fill a opening for our premier client.

• Telecommunications and Business knowledge of the Universal Platform including Sales, Contract Automation, Ordering and Billing
• Experience gathering high level requirements for new projects and articulating them into System level Requirements and prepare architectural design for the development team.
• 3+ years as Java developer using Core Java, Spring Boot, Web Services (SOAP and REST), XML, Eclipse, Hibernate.
• 3+ years of Expertise developing Micro Service applications in Spring Boot, Maven, Spring Data - JPA, MySql DB, Camunda workflow services & REST API development.
• Experience deploying services into Production ENVs such as Kubernetes (k8), Tomcat, Wildfy. Monitoring Production application.
• Database experience with MS SQL & MySQL.

• Experience with Git Hub versioning tools and Git Hub Actions for code deployment.
• Experience interacting with Customer teams to gather requirements on enhancement projects and major upgrades.
• Experience using Generative AI to speed up the development and testing activities and automate redundant tasks is a plus.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
