• Assist in the design, development, and testing of software components for optical networking platforms.
• Participate in code reviews, team discussions, and agile development ceremonies.
• Support debugging and troubleshooting efforts across software and hardware interfaces.
• Contribute to documentation and automation tasks to improve development workflows.
• Learn and apply best practices in embedded systems and network software development.

• Strong desire to learn wireless, and passionate about Python to help automate our lab test procedures.
• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in CS, CE, EE, or a related discipline.
• Familiarity with C/C++ programming, especially in systems or embedded contexts.
• Experience working with or learning Linux-based development environments.
• Exposure to version control systems like Git and basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
• Interest in networking technologies and embedded systems.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Go, or Rust is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn in a collaborative team environment.

• Academic projects or coursework related to networking, embedded systems, or telecommunications.
• Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, Docker, or Kubernetes.
• Interest in areas such as network telemetry, AI/ML for network optimization, or open-source contributions.

Fujitsu salaries are aligned to the specific geographic location in which the work is primarily performed. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each situation. The pay range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to specific skills, qualifications, experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role.

The pay range for this position is estimated at $22/hr. to $32/hr usd.
