Harnham is partnering with an enterprise organisation to hire a Senior Software Engineer (AI) on a contract basis. This role focuses on building and shipping production AI features powered by LLMs into real business applications.
- Contract Role
- Location: Dallas, TX (Hybrid – 2–3 days onsite)
- Rate: $60–$70 per hour W2 only
- Work Authorization: U.S. only (no sponsorship)
You’ll design backend services and APIs that integrate large language models into production systems. This is a hands‑on engineering role, not research—focused on reliability, scalability, and real‑world usage.
Key Responsibilities- Build and deploy AI‑powered backend services
- Design scalable APIs and microservices
- Optimise AI latency, quality, and cost
- 6+ years of software engineering experience
- Strong backend skills (Python, Java, or similar)
- Experience integrating LLMs / AI APIs into production
- Solid RAG and cloud deployment experience (AWS, Azure)
