Job Title
Real Time Data C# Software Engineer
LocationDallas, Texas. Candidate must reside within 100‑mile radius of Dallas.
Employment TypeRegular Full‑Time.
Annual Salary$120,000 – 150,000 per year.

- Design, build, and maintain real‑time data pipelines from start to finish.
- Develop low‑latency and high‑throughput services in C#/.NET, with occasional C++/Linux or Go work.
- Work with UDP, multicast, TCP, Kafka and custom streaming protocols.
- Use Terraform for infrastructure as code on AWS.
- Own CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and production rollouts on AWS (EC2, ECS, S3).
- Operate Kubernetes and Docker environments.
- Troubleshoot production issues involving networking, latency, and data correctness.
- Improve observability using metrics, logs, alerts, and data‑traffic visualization tools.
- Participate in on‑call rotation and Tier‑1 production support.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Technical Program Managers, and downstream consumers.
- 3–4+ years of C#/.NET backend systems programming experience.
- Experience building or operating high‑throughput, real‑time systems.
- Understanding of debugging processes, memory issues, basic networking issues and switching concepts.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred; Azure or GCP acceptable).
- Comfortable owning services end‑to‑end in production.
- Strong C#/.NET engineering skills.
- Experience instrumenting applications with telemetry for observability.
- Cloud experience, especially AWS.
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools.
- Multicast networking (UDP, IGMP, PIM).
- Low‑latency techniques: kernel‑mode bypass, NUMA awareness, CPU pinning, huge pages.
- Kafka producers, consumers, partitions, replay.
- CI/CD tooling such as Git Hub Actions, Git Lab Actions, Jenkins, etc.
- Experience with co‑located data centers.
- Experience with AWS ECS, EC2, S3.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform.
- Networking or switching knowledge.
- Data streaming, video streaming, or financial experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in C++ on Linux or Go (GoLang) is a plus.
