Overview

PwC seeks a Manager in Software Engineering to lead delivery teams in designing, building, and running innovative AI‑ and data‑intensive tax platforms. The role combines technical leadership, architecture design, and people management to transform complex tax challenges into scalable, cloud‑native solutions.

• Lead delivery teams in the design and development of innovative tax platforms.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
• Oversee architecture and implementation processes to ensure quality outcomes.
• Drive agile methodologies and Dev Ops practices within the team.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to address complex tax challenges.
• Transform intricate tax issues into scalable, cloud‑based solutions.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
• Confirm alignment with project timelines and client expectations.

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
• At least 4 years of experience in software development and project delivery.

• Master’s Degree preferred.
• Proven experience leading software delivery teams.
• Proficiency in core technology stacks and designing scalable, distributed architectures.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms.
• Experience establishing and running CI/CD pipelines.
• Incorporating AI and analytics into products and understanding responsible AI practices.
• Clear communication and facilitation skills.

Up to 20%.

Salary range: $99,000 - $266,000. Actual compensation depends on skills, experience, and location. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
