Position: Software Engineer/Quality Assurance (GOV)

As a Software Engineer within PNC's C&IB's organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA or Dallas, TX.

Key Responsibilities:

- Define, develop, implement, and maintain scalable, reusable test automation strategies.

- Develop and maintain automation frameworks using QFaaS, Karate, and BDD tools like Cucumber.

- Execute functional, regression, system integration, end-to-end, accessibility.

- Collaborate with developers, QEs, and POs to understand requirements and define test scenarios.

- Create and maintain test strategies, test cases, and test result documentation.

- Track and report quality metrics including defect density, test coverage, and execution status using JIRA, X-Ray, and Confluence.

- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, code reviews, and retrospectives.

- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.

- Mentor QA team members and provide technical guidance.

- Promote best practices in Agile, Dev Ops, and test-driven development (BDD/TDD).

- Effectively assess and manage risks in alignment with PNC's Enterprise Risk Management Framework.

Required

Skills & Experience:

- 4+ years of experience in software quality assurance.

- Proficiency in Java, or JavaScript for automation scripting.

- Experience with Selenium, Junit, Karate, Cucumber, and TestNG.

- Hands-on experience with Intelli

J IDE.

- Proficiency using version control systems like GIT, Bitbucket.

- Familiarity with JIRA for bug tracking and reporting.

- Basic debugging and troubleshooting skills.

- Experience in both manual and automated testing environments.

- Knowledge of performance testing tools and techniques.
