Optomi, in partnership with a leading enterprise AI solutions provider, is looking for an AI Engineer, API & AI Services on a contract basis supporting W-2 only.
Position Summary: As an AI Engineer, you will be instrumental in building and operating AI services that enhance our enterprise AI platform. Your role involves creating solutions for document understanding, content analysis, and intelligent workflow automation. You will work within a cross-functional team to design, develop, and maintain LLM-backed services that integrate with our production API gateway, ensuring seamless delivery of AI capabilities to enterprise customers.

- Proficiency in Python and experience with agentic frameworks such as Lang Chain.
- Familiarity with AWS services and infrastructure as code tools.
- Design, build, and maintain LLM-backed sub‑services for document analysis and AI‑assisted information retrieval.
- Integrate AI services with the production API gateway while respecting multi‑tenant authentication and routing.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure for AI services on AWS.
- Collaborate with the team to define and enhance how enterprise customers access platform capabilities beyond REST.
