Role: Technical Team Lead – Oracle eCommerce
Location: Remote
Type: Contract - now through the end of the year
Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Oracle Commerce Cloud (OCC) Team Lead to join a high-performing CX team. You will be responsible for software development, technical design, and daily support of a global eCommerce platform. This role involves leading a team of developers to deliver production-ready storefronts on schedule while ensuring best practices in system configuration, testing, and implementation.
Key Responsibilities- Technical Leadership: Lead a development team through the full project lifecycle (Discovery, Design, Testing, and Post-Go-Live support).
- Development & Configuration: Provide hands‑on expertise in configuring and developing OCC storefronts for both B2B and B2C environments.
- Standards & Mentorship: Define coding standards and best practices; mentor junior teammates to ensure high-quality technical delivery.
- Integration: Design and manage integrations between OCC and external applications (ERP, CPQ, etc.) using SSE, OIC, or other middleware.
- Troubleshooting: Identify defects, find workarounds, and resolve complex issues using developer tools and debug plugins.
- Project Management: Manage daily design and development assignments under Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid SDLC frameworks.
- Experience: 5+ years of hands‑on experience in Oracle Commerce Cloud (OCC).
- Frameworks: Proficiency with both Classic and OSF (Open Storefront Framework).
- Core OCC
Skills:
Hands‑on experience with widgets, elements, custom data‑binding, Webhooks, Payment Gateways, SSO, and Analytics. - Global Commerce: Experience with multi‑site, multi‑language, and multi‑currency configurations.
- Integrations: Hands‑on experience with OIC (preferred), Dell Boomi, or Mule Soft; deep knowledge of OCC REST‑APIs.
- Tools: Proficient with JIRA and code repositories (Bit Bucket, Git Hub) including CI/CD processes.
- Oracle Certifications (OCC, OIC, or Oracle CX Cloud).
- Experience with CPQ, Field Service, Sales and Service, or Subscription Management.
