Software Engineer Sr - Angular​/Java

As a Software Engineer Sr within PNC's C/IB MIS DIGITAL organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA or Dallas, TX.

• Hands‑on experience with Angular, Java8+, Spring Boot, MongoDB, and microservice application development.
• Expertise in core Java, asynchronous and reactive programming.
• Ability to write disciplined, well‑typed, efficient, testable, and maintainable code.
• Front‑end development experience with modern versions of Angular.
• Contribute to Solutions Go-to-Market, prioritize development efforts, shape solution direction, and drive new trends.
• Manage ambiguity, work independently, and solve problems across functional teams.
• Track record of delivering quality products and passion for learning new technologies.
• Level‑up coding practice on every opportunity and knack for getting things done, whether independently or in a team.
• Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle and possess good communication skills.

• Knowledge of Docker and Open Shift.
• Knowledge of build tools such as Gradle or Maven.
• Knowledge of enterprise CI/CD.
• Knowledge of Agile practice.
• Passion for exploring diverse fields such as machine learning, AI, and microservice architecture.

• Provide detailed technical design and development of software solutions using existing and emerging technology platforms.
• Propose and design software solutions to address complex business needs.
• Write code, test, and deploy software.
• Prepare technical and procedural documentation required for software.
• Maintain and debug software.

Work experience:
