Position Overview

This role focuses on developing, maintaining, and expanding a complex, data‑centric Treasury Management payment network currently hosted on Hadoop and Neo4j.
Responsibilities- Develop, maintain, and expand the Treasury Management payment network on Hadoop and Neo4j.
- Work on complex data requirements independently.
- Collaborate with Data Scientists, Architects, and other key technical resources.
- Implement streaming and Iceberg data solutions.
- Leverage Cloudera Hadoop, HDFS, HQL, Hive, Impala, Beeline, and Neo4j to support platform needs.
- Provide strong communication skills and lead technical initiatives as a Data Engineer.
- Utilize orchestration and scheduling tools, Spark/PySpark, and Linux operating systems.
- Architect and design solutions that address complex business needs, including modern principles, methodologies, and tools.
- Prepare technical and procedural documentation, review coding, testing, and documentation of software.
- Facilitate complex problem resolution and provide technical guidance to colleagues.
- 3+ years of relevant industry experience or a university/college degree with comparable experience and certifications.
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer, with expertise in orchestration, scheduling, Spark/PySpark, Cloudera Hadoop, Hive, Impala, Beeline, and Neo4j.
- Strong communication skills and ability to lead others.
- Experience with Iceberg and streaming data solutions.
- Knowledge of Apache Kafka, Application Development, Business Management, Customer Solutions, Data Engineering, Design, Group Problem Solving, Neo4j, Process Improvements, Release Management, Software Solutions, and User Experience (UX) Design.
- Competencies in Application Delivery Process, Application Design, Architecture, Application Development Tools, Application Testing, Packaged Application Integration, System Development Life Cycle, and Technical Troubleshooting.
- Bachelor’s degree required; certificates desirable (no specific certifications mandatory).
Base Salary: $55,000.00 – $ (may vary by location, market data, and individual skills, experience, and education). The role is incentive eligible based upon company, business, and/or individual performance.
