OS Development Engineer: AI & TV Platform Innovator

About the Team

Come help us build the next generation of smart TVs! We’re working on a new platform to take user experience (UX) to the next level for millions of users. You will be joining the team that builds and maintains one of our main applications. Your work will have a large, direct impact on the customer experience.

What You Will Do

• Contribute directly to implementations and maintenance of our applications.
• Develop data generation techniques for novel TV platforms and data delivery to cloud services.
• Collaborate broadly across multiple disciplines from platform architects to Machine Learning (ML) developers.
• Develop AI, automation frameworks, tools, engine components and processes used across teams.
• Interpret requests from our QA and engineering partners, account for and call out any roadblocks or efficiencies your partners may not consider and propose and apply your technical solutions.
• Evangelize and create learning material for the features you build.

About You

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Engineering, or related disciplines.
• 5+ years of professional development experience with C/C++.
• 3+ years of experience building compilers, using compiler frameworks like LLVM/MLIR (Multi Level Intermediate Representation), or optimizing AI/numerical workloads.
• 3+ years of proven experience in the AI/ML domain, with a strong track record of solving customer-specific use cases in different domains.
• Extensive experience working across multiple industries, with a solid understanding of industry-specific challenges and opportunities.
• Proficiency in data collection (Metrics and Analytics)
• Strong data analysis skills.
• Experience working on an agile team to deliver technology.
• Experience as contributor to technical architecture and design documents for medium/large sized features
• Solid foundation in Computer Science fundamentals, algorithms, design patterns, test-driven development, CI/CD processes, and data structures.
• Experience using or developing Machine Learning training or inference software.
• A deep technical background and solid foundation in software engineering principles.
• Curiosity about learning new technologies.
• Strong communication and cross-team collaboration skills.
