ML​/Gen AI Engineer

Compensation: $70-80/hr W2

• Design, build, train, and optimize machine learning and GenAI models for document processing and intelligent automation.
• Develop and fine-tune models for document classification, data extraction, translation, and semantic search/RAG pipelines.
• Evaluate and benchmark models, improve accuracy (including OCR vs. vision model comparisons), and support POCs and experimentation.
• Create model documentation to meet Model Risk Management (MRM), governance, and audit requirements.
• Partner with ML Engineers to integrate models into production and collaborate with QA/UAT teams to validate performance and quality.

• 3+ years building, training, evaluating, and deploying ML models in production.
• Experience with Document AI, including document classification, data extraction, OCR, or intelligent document processing (IDP).
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI/LLMs, including RAG, semantic search, and vector databases.
• Experience with NLP, model fine-tuning, benchmarking, and performance optimization.
• Experience deploying models into production alongside engineering teams.
• Familiarity with Model Risk Management (MRM) or model governance is a plus.
