Software Development Engineer

Responsibilities Develop and maintain scalable, robust software solutions across the full stack, front-end and back-end.

Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle.

Deliver customer-focused releases through iterative development.

Ensure simplicity and maintainability in software design.

Collaborate across teams to meet organizational needs.

Promote a culture of inclusive collaboration and continuous learning.

Basic Qualifications3+ years of software development experience.

Strong proficiency in languages such as Java script, Typescript, C#, Go, or others.

Solid foundation in software engineering principles: problem-solving, data structures, algorithms, and patterns.

Experience in full-stack development, capable of shipping and operating large-scale systems.

Solid SQL skills and familiarity with RDBMS like SQL Server or PostgreSQL.Understanding of distributed systems design, implementation, and operation.

Familiarity with at least one cloud vendor:
Azure, AWS, or GCP.Effective communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications Solid experience and understanding of C# and .NET Core for application development.

Skilled in using React and Type Script for web application development.

Experience with asynchronous, event-based architectures.

Proficiency in technologies like REST APIs, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform.

Knowledge of Application and Performance Monitoring platforms, e.g., New Relic.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines.

Familiarity with agile methodologies.

Education Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.

Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is:$72,100.00 - $This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
