Senior Big Data & AI Engineer

• Responsible for the development of high performance, distributed computing tasks using Big Data technologies

• Familiarity with JVM-based function languages including Scala and Clojure

• Uses Big Data programming languages and technology to write code, complete documentation, and perform testing and debugging of applications

• Analyzes, designs, programs, debugs and modifies software enhancements and/or new products used in distributed, large-scale analytics and visualization solutions

• Works in a highly agile environment

• Utilize AI/ML tooling and techniques for Data Science solutioning

Requirements

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering Physics, or Scientific Computing
• Five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation
• Utilizing AI/ML tooling and techniques to implement highly productive Data Science solutioning
• Experience with supervised/unsupervised predictive analytics, neural networks, and deep learning
• Utilizing alternative HDFS-based computing frameworks including Python programming, and AI-Computer Vision
• Utilizing Image Processing and Optical Character Recognition (OCR) model packages
