Job Description
We’re Hitachi Digital Services, a global digital solutions and transformation business. We’re looking for an experienced AWS Full Stack Developer to join Product Engineering Services practice and contribute to practice initiatives while staying current with the latest work in the Cloud and Product Engineering space.
Responsibilities- Design end-to-end solutions, proof of concepts, and best practices integrating applications with broader ecosystems and cloud/infrastructure technologies.
- Act as a trusted advisor and AI advocate, driving conversations with business and IT stakeholders on technical and functional delivery throughout the project.
- Troubleshoot key implementation issues and lead successful resolution, leveraging AWS Serverless Framework and services such as S3, Cloud Front, Cloud Watch, API Gateway, SNS, SQS, DynamoDB, IAM, Route
53, and App Sync. - Automate AWS infrastructure with Terraform / Terragrunt.
- Ensure application performance and scalability optimizations.
- Lead technical solutioning and delivery within the Scrum team, providing guidance to developers and ensuring sprint goals are met.
- Identify technical debt, propose design improvements, and support production releases and post‑production incident resolutions.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy Angular‑based web applications and REST/JSON web services on AWS Lambda, and AWS App Sync‑based GraphQL services.
- Address design and functionality problems independently with minimal oversight.
- 15+ years of AWS platform experience with expert proficiency in NodeJS and Type Script.
- Excellent understanding of AWS Serverless Framework and services such as S3, Cloud Front, Cloud Watch, API Gateway, Lambda, SNS, SQS, DynamoDB, IAM, Route
53. - Advanced knowledge of App Sync Queries, microservices, access patterns, and service integration contracts.
- Experience automating AWS infrastructure with Terraform / Terragrunt.
- Proficiency with unit testing frameworks and code coverage.
- Experience with development tools (Git Hub/Bitbucket, Sonar) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to work independently on complex design problems.
- Experience with data modelling, DynamoDB design patterns, and Dynamo triggers, schemas, indexes, and streams.
