Immediate need for a talented Performance Test Engineer with experience in the Telecom Industry. This is a 6+ Months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Dallas, TX. Please review the job description below.

Key Requirements and Technology

Experience:

• Review software requirements, technical and functional specification documents to design & develop automation scripts to assure the code operates as defined.
• Automate, execute, continuously integrate & maintain complex test scripts while properly generating results to communicate issues found across organizational groups.
• Maintain defect tracking information using JIRA.
• Work closely with business analyst and software development teams in scoping acceptance criteria for stories.
• Perform manual exploratory testing as needed.
• Develops automated test scripts, conditions, data, and expected results for performance test efforts using Neoload.
• Executes tests and report results according to testing standards and procedures.
• Drives performance diagnostic and tuning activities.
• Maintain technical and functional awareness and competence.
• Utilize test tool automation to streamline testing activities as defined.
• Execute and coordinate the performance testing of the application when applicable with.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other engineering discipline, or equivalent work experience required.
• At least 4 years of experience with performance and/or automation testing of custom systems using industry accepted tools such as Neo Load, Load Runner, JMeter or other.
• Previous experience working with application functional testing, web service test automation, and performance testing & engineering are required.
• Experience in Agile software development.
• Agile story and defect documentation within JIRA.
• Application developed in Java in an Oracle database on Apache servers.
• Strong ability to troubleshoot complex technical situations, resolve issues and work within a team or independently when necessary to complete assignments.
