Software Engineer, Backend Developer, Python

We're looking for a Software Engineer to join our engineering team. You'll have the chance to work across different domains, with the freedom to follow your interests and strengths. As a small team, we offer plenty of opportunities to grow, take on meaningful work, and shape the things you build.

• Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs
• Develop and maintain integrations with external systems and services
• Contribute to AI-powered features within the platform
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
• Debug and resolve issues across the platform
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
• Collaborate with other engineers to deliver features end-to-end
• Document your work clearly for other engineers and stakeholders

• 3+ years of software engineering experience
• Strong proficiency in Python
• Experience with Python-based backend frameworks, preferably Django
• Experience with PostgreSQL
• Experience with Open Search (or Elasticsearch)
• Experience with containerization, such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with at least one major cloud platform (Azure or AWS)
• Proficiency with Git
• Experience with Jira or similar issue tracking tools
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Experience with Type Script, React, and modern frontend development
• Experience integrating LLMs into applications
• Experience working on data science or machine learning projects
• Experience with Apache Ni Fi
• Experience working in a remote environment with team members in different time zones

The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $150,000 USD per year. The actual compensation offered may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills, and location.
