Pay Rate: $55-60/hr
Location:
Dallas / Tampa / Jersey City - onsite / Local Only Duration: 12 months
Experience:
Generally requires 10 to 15 years of total technology experience, with substantial focus on Appian BPM architecture and low-code scalability.
Solution Design:
Lead high-level and low-level designs (HLDs/LLDs) for Appian process models, records, interfaces, and business rules.
Enterprise Integration:
Oversee integrations with microservices, external databases, and REST/SOAP APIs using secure cloud/AWS architectures.
Team Leadership:
Mentor global engineering teams, drive code quality and governance, and champion CI/CD deployment pipelines.
Must Have:
- Minimum 8 years of Appian BPM experience.
- Good knowledge of the product including BPM Fundamentals, Architecture Components, Technical Features such as Designer Features, Configurations in Appian etc.
- Should have hands on experience in design and development in Appian BPM including components such as Tempo, Mobility Features, Forums, Discussions, Pages, Smart Services, Reports, Deployment etc.
- Should have good knowledge of Java, J2EE, Ajax, JavaScript, JS, XML, XSLT etc.
- Should have design/architecture experience building business workflow automation and business rules execution (a.k.a Rules Engine). Considerations are needed to determine and help in establishing some enterprise standards.
Good-to-Have:
- Appian Certifications if any.
- Should have handled teams of size 6-8 and should be able to mentor the team.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Should have good knowledge of Appian Administration and servers such as JBOSS/Web Sphere/Web Logic etc.

- Provide solutions to customer, Define architecture and design level concepts, standards.
- Mentor teams, Juniors and provide proper guidance
