Dallas Country Club is currently seeking qualified individuals for seasonal Lifeguard positions. DCC, founded in 1896, is the most exclusive and prestigious private club in the area and we pride ourselves on hiring the best of the best. Guards must be attentive in monitoring the safety of the pool and surrounding area as well as capable of aiding when needed both in and out of the water.

• React quickly and calmly in emergencies
• Monitoring activities in the pool and around the deck area
• Implementing guidelines and procedures established by the American Red Cross to maintain a safe pool environment, prevent injuries, and minimize dangerous situations
• Providing first aid care and appropriate assistance to members and guests when needed
• Assisting patrons, such as performing safety orientations, administering swim tests and fitting for life jackets
• Performing opening duties, closing duties or facility safety checks and inspections
• Enforcing facility rules and regulations and educating patrons about them
• Maintaining the cleanliness of the pool and pool area (picking up towels, lost and found, etc.)
• Participating in meetings and voicing concerns as well as suggestions for improvement
• Assist in the completion of required records and reports on time
• Disciplining children when necessary

• Minimum of 16 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred)
• CPR and AED Certification (Required)
• Lifeguard Certification (Required)
• Prior Lifeguarding experience a plus
• US work authorization (Required)

* Training will be available to those seeking certification

• Present a professional appearance and attitude, as well as maintaining a high level of customer service.
• Working as a team with other lifeguards, facility staff and management (Communication is Key)
• Candidates applying for this position should be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted repeatedly throughout the workday

• Available to work flexible hours as well as holidays (Memorial Day, July 4, Labor Day)
• Beginning May 1st, hours needed are:
  • Fridays May 01, 08, 15 | 5:00pm - 9:00pm and May 22 | 3:00pm-9:00pm
  • Saturdays May 02, 09, 16 | 11:00am - 8:00pm
  • Sundays May 03, 10, 17| 11:00am - 8:00pm
  • Beginning Saturday May 23rd pool opens daily 10:00am - 9:00pm
