LOD- Lead Driver​/Shift Supervisor - DAL

Job Description

Sky Hop Global is one of the premier ground transportation companies for airline crews. We provide the transportation for pilots and flight attendants during their layover periods in a multitude of cities. The primary purpose of this position is to manage, coordinate, and schedule a fleet of drivers according to airline schedules.

Pay: Earn $18 - $20/hr per hour! Daily Cash tips + Monthly Safety Bonus

Shift: We are a 24/7/365 operations. Weekends and holidays required.

NOTE: Depending on location size; may be expected to be in the field 50-75% of their scheduled time.

• Lead and Inspire:
  Provide clear direction and support to our team of drivers, helping them deliver excellent service while managing costs and maximizing profitability.
• Coaching and Development:
  Foster a culture of continuous improvement through team-building, coaching, and feedback. You'll be instrumental in developing our drivers into high-performing professionals.
• Operational Excellence:
  Assist in minimizing overtime, ensuring it's limited to emergency situations only, and contribute to efficient station operations.
• Support the Station Manager:
  Help with recruitment, training, and driver performance management, while motivating and mentoring our transport team.
• Fleet Oversight:
  Play an active role in vehicle maintenance, daily inspections, scheduling repairs, and communicating with the Fleet Manager to keep everything running smoothly.
• Safety Champion:
  Promote a safety-first culture by conducting audits and leading station safety meetings. Your focus on safety ensures that everyone goes home safe.

• Assist the Station Manager with managing local permits and vehicle registrations and communicate with finance for timely renewal.
• Maintain positive professional relationship with airport ground transportation. Attend meetings as required.
• Must complete required paperwork timely. Adhere to company policies and all protocol.
