Test Vehicle Operator – Autonomous Vehicles

Location:

Dallas, TX

Pay: $24–$26 per hour

Schedule:

Full-time, 30–40 hours per week

Contract:

1 year (extension possible)

Join a cutting-edge autonomous vehicle testing program in Dallas. We’re hiring safety-focused drivers to operate self‑driving vehicles in real‑world conditions and provide feedback that helps improve next‑generation vehicle technology.

• AM Shift (6:00 AM - 4:30 PM)
• PM Shift (2:30 PM-1:00 AM)

• Sunday-Wednesday
• Thursday-Sunday
• Saturday-Tuesday

• Safely operate autonomous vehicles on public roads
• Monitor vehicle behaviour and remain alert at all times
• Perform daily pre‑drive vehicle inspections
• Report system performance, safety issues, and observations
• Communicate clearly with engineers and operations teams
• Maintain focus and professionalism during extended driving shifts

• Valid U.S. driver’s license held for 3+ years with no gaps between renewals
• Clean driving record with no points, tickets, or violations
• Strong understanding of traffic laws and defensive driving
• Ability to remain focused during 4–8 hour driving shifts
• Comfortable driving in all traffic and weather conditions
• Tech‑savvy with fast and fast typing skills (40 WPM)

• Autonomous vehicle or ADAS experience (not obligatory if you have…)
• GPS and navigation tools experience
• Delivery or app‑based driving experience (3+ years preferred)
• Professional or ride‑share driving experience (Uber, Lyft, Door Dash, etc.)
• Defensive driving certification is a plus
• Technical or troubleshooting aptitude
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
