Position: Customs & Logistics Specialist (Import/Export)

FASCore is an engineering solutions provider focused on supply chain coordination, equipment procurement support, and post-delivery technical services for industrial and advanced manufacturing projects in the United States.

Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for sourcing, quotation comparison, and selection of freight forwarders for import and export operations; establish and execute service agreements with selected vendors.
  • Determine appropriate transportation methods based on cargo type and project requirements (FCL, LCL, breakbulk, oversized or special cargo, etc.).
  • Execute customs brokerage authorization via the electronic port system and coordinate with customs brokers to ensure smooth and compliant customs clearance.
  • Oversee export shipment bookings; coordinate with freight forwarders and suppliers; review and confirm invoice descriptions; prepare supplementary information and customs declaration documents in compliance with financial and tax requirements (including export tax rebate requirements).
  • Review and verify customs declaration, inspection, and related documentation to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
  • Track the entire logistics process, proactively resolve issues, and ensure on-time delivery of goods.
  • Based on cargo arrival and contractual terms, collect and review relevant documents (invoices, billing statements, etc.), verify costs, and submit payment requests.
  • Follow up on payment processes to ensure timely settlement.
  • Regularly compile and organize export data into reports and submit to the finance team for accounting and export tax rebate processing.
Requirements
  • Authorized to work in the United States on a continuous and lawful basis (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or valid work visa); no criminal record.
  • Bachelor’s degree or above in International Trade, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience in import/export customs operations or international logistics; familiarity with ocean freight, air freight, and oversized equipment transportation; project-based logistics experience is preferred.
  • Solid understanding of customs clearance procedures, documentation, and electronic customs systems.
  • Familiarity with export tax rebate processes and related tax compliance requirements is a plus.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively with suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal teams.
  • Detail-oriented, highly responsible, and capable of strong execution and problem-solving.
  • Proficient in English with strong reading and writing skills.
