About the Role

The Class A CDL Tanker Driver is a critical position responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of liquid cargo to various destinations. The driver will perform pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections, maintain accurate delivery and maintenance records, and ensure timely deliveries.

This is a safety‑sensitive position requiring a clear mind, accountability, and adherence to all safety standards.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with tanker endorsement.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screening.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Extensive traveling with open‑top dump trailers (30‑45’).
  • Operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles as required.
  • Perform pre‑ and post‑trip inspections.
  • Basic hand tool repairs on company bins and equipment.
  • Maintain truck equipment cleanliness.
  • Use an electronic logging system for DOT driver logs.
  • Maintain paperwork and submit documentation.
  • Communicate regularly with customers, vendors, and corporate office.
  • Report all accidents and injuries immediately to the safety manager.
  • Work flexible hours up to 60 hrs in 7 days or 70 hrs in 8 days.
  • Participate in weekly safety calls, training, or briefings.
  • Basic computer and cell phone usage for training and expense management.
Required Skills & Abilities
  • Valid CDL‑A with Tanker endorsement (Roll Off or Triaxle).
  • End‑dump experience is a plus.
  • Time management and route consistency.
  • Customer service and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in operating manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
  • Experience using an Electronic Logging System.
  • Knowledge of hydraulics is a plus.
  • Basic computer and cell phone knowledge.
  • Read and speak English fluently.
  • Age 21 or older.
  • Current DOT medical card.
  • Background check and road test clearance.
  • Reside in the hiring area and willing to park at approved location.
  • No DUI/DWI conviction in last 3 years.
  • No DOT drug/alcohol violation in last 3 years.
Physical Requirements
  • Lifting, pulling, or pushing up to 70 lbs; bending, stooping, twisting, shoveling, or reaching overhead.
  • Manage unpleasant odors from food waste/farms.
  • Work outside in all weather conditions.
