Air and Ocean Export Coordinator

Air & Ocean Export Coordinator | Dallas, Texas | Salary up to $65,000

This role is responsible for managing end-to-end export shipments, ensuring timely and accurate processing of documentation, and maintaining compliance with international shipping regulations. The ideal candidate requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, carriers, and global partners.

• Coordinate and manage international export shipments via air and ocean freight
• Prepare and process export documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, export declarations, shipping instructions, certificates of origin, etc.)
• Ensure compliance with U.S. export regulations and international trade laws
• Communicate with carriers, airlines, steamship lines, customs brokers, and overseas agents to arrange shipments and track cargo
• Provide shipment updates and customer support to clients
• Monitor shipment progress and proactively resolve delays, documentation issues, or other operational challenges
• Coordinate export compliance requirements and ensure proper classification of goods
• Maintain accurate records in the transportation management system (TMS)
• Coordinate with internal departments (warehouse, compliance, accounting, and operations teams)
• Ensure billing accuracy and timely invoicing

• 2+ years of experience in export freight forwarding (air and/or ocean)
• Strong knowledge of export documentation and procedures
• Familiarity with U.S. export compliance regulations and international shipping requirements
• Experience with freight forwarding software (e.g., Cargo Wise, Magaya, or similar)
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
