Main Responsibilities- Greeting our customers and ensuring a great experience while you fuel and wash vehicles
- Performing vehicle readiness inspections to confirm tires, fluids, and other basic maintenance items are complete
- Helping keep our facilities clean and safe for customers and associates
- Building skills through training and coaching to perform minor repairs such as installing mounted tires, replacing or rotating tires, and performing preventive maintenance repairs
- Completing additional projects and tasks as assigned by the supervisor

- High school diploma, equivalent, or prior work experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license required
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Ability and willingness to work outside
- Basic mechanical ability and tool usage (preferred)
- Basic computer skills
- Understanding and compliance with specific instructions, guidelines, rules, regulations, or other information established by Penske management
- Adherence to DOT, OSHA, and all Penske safety and maintenance policies, including the correct selection and use of appropriate tools, PPE, machine guarding, and established best safety practices
- Regular, predictable, full attendance is essential
- Driving duties require a DOT and current driver qualification file, including annual MVR check, DOT Physical, Safety Performance History records, and for CDL holders a DOT Drug Screening within 30 days of starting and FMCSA Clearinghouse review
- Willingness to work the required schedule, at the specific location, complete Penske employment application, submit to background screening (criminal checks, past employment and education), pass a drug screen and physical per DOT, and potential local travel for training
- Must move frequently, stand, walk, climb, bend, and sit for extended periods throughout the work schedule
- Must use hands on a routine basis to grasp, reach, touch, handle, feel, or operate required tools or controls
- Must work safely at heights using ladders and elevated platforms
- Must work safely in all weather conditions
- Must see and hear to navigate the work environment safely amid frequent truck movement
- Must regularly lift or move up to 50lbs (23kg) and occasionally up to 100lbs (45kg); also able to push/pull truck tires exceeding 100 pounds regularly
