** Truck Driver II

– Position Overview
** Wilsonart, Dallas, has an immediate opening for a Truck Driver II.  This individual will conduct assigned deliveries. Loads and unloads trucks in the assigned department/location. Performs other tasks as required.
** ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
*** Loads and unloads materials
* Drives truck to destinations and returns safely
* Maintains truck log according to state and federal regulations
* Prepares and maintains required documentation
* Performs emergency roadside repairs
* Positions hazardous material trailer identification
* Reads maps and plans routes to the load destination
* Maintains acceptable driving record
* Assists the needs of the customer
* Assists in the distribution center as necessary or directed
* Performs other tasks as required
** KNOWLEDGE,

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

*** Knowledge of Department of Transportation and state regulations and local laws pertaining to vehicle operations
* Knowledge of truck hauling procedures
* Knowledge of hazardous waste materials and safe handling procedures
* Skill in operating lift trucks
* Ability to understand and follow directions
* Ability to work independently and as a team
** MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
**** EDUCATION
* * High School Graduate or GEDMust have a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s license
