As an Inventory Control Delivery Driver, you'll be responsible for coordinating and completing daily deliveries to job sites, managing asset transfers, supporting inventory processes, and assisting with tasks in the IC Receiving and Shipping departments. This hands-on role operates in both warehouse and delivery environments, requiring frequent driving, physical activity, and close collaboration with internal teams to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Coordinate with supervisors and job center staff to schedule and complete timely deliveries and pick-ups. Verify and document materials, inventory quantities, and fixed asset transfers using company barcode scanning procedures. Collect and confirm delivery details including location, contact information, PPE requirements, and access instructions. Assist with pulling, verifying, and organizing job materials to support warehouse operations. Perform quarterly inventory counts, inspections of incoming materials, and report any discrepancies or damages.
Maintain vehicles, equipment, and warehouse areas to ensure safety, cleanliness, and organization. Support general facility upkeep, including light building maintenance and end-of-day/week cleaning tasks.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to obtain DOT certification.
- 2+ years of truck driving, delivery, or transportation experience.
- Ability to lift/carry up to 40 lbs. and push/pull up to 100 lbs.
- Proficient with computers (data entry, typing, 10-key)
- experience with inventory systems a plus.
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
- Experience in warehouse operations, shipping/receiving, or equipment operation (forklifts/pallet jacks preferred).
