Compensation: $45,000–$65,000 annually, depending on experience

As our Dallas operation continues to grow, we’re adding a Warehouse Receiving Manager – 2nd Shift to take ownership of evening receiving operations and lead a small, hardworking team.
Aboutthe Role
This is a hands-on, working leadership role for someone who understands warehouse receiving and leads by example. You’ll oversee inbound freight during second shift, ensure product is received accurately, and guide a team of 3–10 associates to keep operations running smoothly. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in ownership, works well independently, and isn’t afraid to be on the warehouse floor alongside their team.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and supervise a small receiving team (3–10 associates) during second shift
- Oversee inbound freight and receiving operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and proper documentation
- Verify counts, inspect shipments, and identify and resolve discrepancies
- Coordinate with purchasing, inventory, and day-shift teams to ensure smooth handoffs
- Maintain organization, cleanliness, and safety standards in the receiving area
- Train, coach, and hold team members accountable to performance and safety expectations
- Take ownership of the shift by managing priorities, addressing issues as they arise, and escalating when appropriate
- Work hands-on in the warehouse, assisting with receiving, stocking and put-away of inventory, staging, and related tasks as needed
- Prior warehouse receiving experience (required)
- Experience leading or supervising a small warehouse team
- Comfortable working on the warehouse floor — this is not a desk-only role
- Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and follow-through
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions during off‑hours
- Forklift experience preferred
- Experience in plumbing supply, construction materials, or industrial distribution is a plus
- Primary schedule: 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM, Monday–Friday
- Training may initially occur on day shift prior to transitioning to second shift
- Overtime may be required periodically based on operational needs
This position is non-exempt and eligible for overtime in accordance with applicable federal and state laws.
