Warehouse Inventory Control Specialist
Work Type: On Site
Location: 950
E. Avenue K, Grand Prairie, TX 75050
Work Hours: Monday – Friday 4:00 am – 12:30 pm (overtime as needed and during peak season Jun‑Dec)
Responsibilities- Receiving and reviewing pick sheets, work orders, and other shipping documents to determine items to be picked and packed.
- Locating and retrieving items from their designated storage areas within the warehouse using handheld devices or picking carts.
- Checking product quality and quantity, ensuring items follow the order specifications.
- Packaging, labeling, and preparing items for shipment to customers, including accurately completing required shipping documentation.
- Keeping accurate inventory records of items picked and packed and reporting any discrepancies or issues to the warehouse supervisor.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area to ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Operating various warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, and following all safety procedures.
- Communicating effectively with other warehouse team members and supervisors to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and meet strict deadlines.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy items, stand for extended periods, and move around the warehouse.
- Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders in spoken English, ensuring clarity and understanding.
- Participate in meetings, discussions, and presentations requiring proficient spoken English skills.
- Ability to work seasonal mandatory overtime as needed.
- Must be able to pass background check.
- HS Diploma or GED (required)
- 1–2 years’ experience in a warehouse/manufacturing setting.
- Preference will be given to candidates with previous related experience.
- Learn tasks quickly, is detail‑oriented, accuracy driven, personable, team‑oriented, and punctual with excellent attendance.
- Must be very comfortable with Microsoft Office, with extensive experience with Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time with repetitive body movements.
- Ability to lift and/or move no less than 15–40 lbs. on a regular basis.
- Must be able to tolerate working in a non‑climate‑controlled environment.
