Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Overtime Required; Saturdays 8:00 AM – 4:00 AM)

Our client, a leading wholesale distributor in Downtown Dallas, is seeking hard-working, reliable, and detail-oriented Warehouse Associates to join their team. This is a fast-paced environment where you will play a critical role in the supply chain, ensuring fresh produce and packaged goods are received, tracked, and shipped out to retailers efficiently.

Primary Responsibilities:Shipping & Receiving: Unload incoming shipments from containers/trucks and verify contents against purchase orders to ensure 100% accuracy.
Order Picking: Accurately gather specific products for outgoing customer orders utilizing "pick sheets" or digital scanners.
Inventory Management: Maintain accurate digital records by performing regular "cycle counts" (counting physical stock).
Quality Control: Inspect produce and packaged goods for any signs of damage or spoilage before they are approved for shipment to retailers.
Palletizing: Safely stack boxes on pallets and securely wrap them using shrink wrap to prepare them for transport.
Physical Stamina: Ability to stand and walk for the duration of an 8–10 hour shift, and repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs.
Equipment Operation: Proficiency with electric pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus, but a willingness to be trained on this equipment is required.
Work Environment: Comfort working in varying temperatures, as food warehouses include refrigerated or "cold storage" sections.
Safety Mindset: Strict adherence to OSHA standards and food safety protocols (including measures to prevent cross-contamination).
Schedule Flexibility: Flexibility for early morning or late evening shifts, as wholesale distribution operates around the clock to meet tight delivery deadlines. Must be open to daily overtime and required Saturday shifts.
