Warehouse Worker

We, Summit Relocation & Logistics are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.

As a Warehouse Worker, you will be responsible for performing various tasks to ensure the efficient operation of our warehouse, including but not limited to receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping merchandise.

• Receive incoming shipments and verify their contents against purchase orders or invoices.
• Inspect and properly store incoming merchandise in designated storage areas.
• Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently according to customer specifications.
• Prepare orders for shipment by ensuring proper packaging and labeling.
• Load and unload trucks using appropriate equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, including sweeping, mopping, and disposing of trash.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by warehouse management.

• Previous experience working in a warehouse or similar environment preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in tasks such as packing, labeling, and inventory management is crucial to avoid errors.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Effective communication is essential, especially in a team-based environment, to convey information about shipments, inventory, and any issues.
