To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Material Handler located in Dallas, Texas
.

Reporting to the Materials Manager, the Material Handler will be responsible for processing inbound and outbound shipment activities within our Sprout department.

Shift
:
Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

• Load and unload deliveries using forklifts, dollies, or hand trucks in a safe manner.
• Verify the quality and count of all items unloaded from trucks and trailers; check against suppliers count and immediately report discrepancies to carriers, supervisor, and purchasing department per company policy.
• Notify supervisor of major discrepancies, over‑shipments, or substitutions.
• Stage received material and product in appropriate location.
• Create shipping and receiving receipts within system.
• Perform inspections on received material and product; document and refuse delivery if material and product does not meet quality standards.
• Maintain inventory management systems to ensure that orders are updated and that appropriate billing documents are provided to accounting or other associated departments, as required.
• Stage product in appropriate staging area for pick up by shipping carrier.
• Perform other related duties, as assigned.

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• At least one year of experience in shipping and receiving, logistics, or any related field
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, detail‑oriented skills
• Solid organizational and time management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Familiar with cycle counting, picking and posting, and working with an MRP/ERP system
