Pride Health is hiring Shipping and Receiving Clerk to support our client’s medical facility based in Dallas, TX
.

Shipping and Receiving Clerk
Pay Range/Salary Range: $16.50 - $17
Contract Duration: 3+ months
Job Description- Key Responsibilities
- Receiving & Inventory
- Unload incoming trucks and shipments.
- Receive, inspect, verify, and process incoming materials.
- Enter receipts into the Materials Management software system.
- Report discrepancies between received materials and shipping documentation to the Warehouse Supervisor.
- Store materials in designated warehouse locations.
- Rotate inventory based on receipt and expiration dates.
- Identify and report materials with less than 30 days of shelf life.
- Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Prepare outbound shipments and required documentation.
- Pick, pack, and stage customer and internal orders.
- Build boxes and package products using packing materials, air pillows, tape guns, and shipping labels.
- Prepare pallets and load trucks for shipment.
- Fill and confirm orders accurately.
- Assist with offline order fulfillment and labeling projects.
- Warehouse Operations
- Break down pallets and boxes using approved cutting tools.
- Transfer materials to storage locations, flow racks, or staging areas.
- Prepackage products from bulk packaging into smaller units.
- Manage returned goods according to company procedures.
- Assist with record storage and retrieval processes.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Equipment Operation
- Safely operate warehouse equipment, including:
- Pallet jacks
- Hand carts
- Forklifts (certification preferred)
- Safety & Compliance
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Comply with OSHA, CLIA, Human Resources, Employee Health & Safety, and other applicable regulations.
- Follow proper lifting and material handling procedures.
- Recommend process improvements to support warehouse efficiency.
- Qualifications
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Team-oriented with strong communication skills.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to maintain regular attendance and work effectively with supervisors and coworkers.
- Ability to work safely in a warehouse environment.
- Experience
- Minimum 1 year of warehouse, shipping, receiving, or related experience preferred.
- Equipment Experience
- Experience operating computers and warehouse equipment preferred.
- Forklift, electric walkie stacker, and pallet jack certification is a plus.
- Working Conditions
- Temperature-controlled warehouse environment.
- Regular standing and walking throughout shifts.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 30 lbs.
- Must follow proper lifting and moving procedures.
